At 54 Below, our mission is to preserve and expand the art of the cabaret while providing an unparalleled audience experience. We’re committed to growing opportunities for diverse communities of emerging and established artists and to expanding their audiences. We aim to present work that is vivid, immediate, enlightening and entertaining that reflects the world around us and the imagination of the artists. We honor the cabaret tradition and the music and community of Broadway by pursuing excellence in content, performance, hospitality and cuisine.

Ticket subsidy

At 54 Below, we have been and remain committed to opening our doors to socio-economically diverse audiences of all ages. In furtherance of that, Our Ticket Subsidy allows us to continue and expand these efforts to welcome new audiences to Broadway’s Living Room. 

$15 Floor Seats with no minimum

A limited number of $15 tickets for select shows are sold first-come, first-serve online with no food and beverage minimum.

Each Monday, new $15 tickets will be added for shows for the following week. Audience members who are interested in these tickets should visit each show’s page on the 54 Below website and select the $15 ticket from the available options. Click here for more details.

35 Below membership 

Audience members under the age of 35 are invited to take advantage of our free membership. Benefits include tickets $35 (includes $4.50 in fees) or less for select shows, complimentary ticket offers throughout the year, a free virtual membership card, and more. Click here for more details.

THE GENESIS PROJECT

54 Below is pleased to announce the launch of the Genesis Project, an educational program that supports early-career artists (writers, musicians, vocalists), directors and producers of cabaret. This program provides performance opportunities, master classes, mentorship and networking opportunities while supporting our mission to preserve and expand the art of cabaret.

Throughout the year 54 Below offers a sneak peek behind its iconic red doors and invites its community to learn about its programming, its transition to a nonprofit performance and other topics of special interest. Audiences have an opportunity to ask questions of 54 Below leadership while enjoying a continental breakfast created by the talented restaurant team.
