A Nonprofit Cabaret Venue

A bald man with light skin, wearing a dark blue shirt, plays drums. He holds drumsticks in both hands and appears focused, with eyes half-closed and mouth slightly open. The drum set and cymbals are visible in the foreground, evoking the intensity of renowned drummer Adam Nussbaum. A dark backdrop is behind him.

Adam Nussbaum is one of the most respected jazz drummers of his generation. Born in New York City and raised in Connecticut, he has enjoyed a remarkable career spanning more than four decades, performing and recording with many of the great figures in jazz, including Stan Getz, Sonny Rollins, Joe Henderson, Gil Evans, John Scofield, Michael Brecker, John Abercrombie, Dave Liebman, Gary Burton and Lee Konitz. Known for his deep swing, powerful groove and extraordinary musical sensitivity, Nussbaum has appeared on hundreds of recordings and has also led his own projects, including The Lead Belly Project. A master of interaction and storytelling on the drums, he remains a vital voice in contemporary jazz.
