Anyae Anasia
Anyae Anasia (pronounced On-Yay Uh-Nay-Juh) is a up and coming director, producer, and performer committed to bold and unique storytelling. An alumni of of Texas State University’s Musical Theatre program, has performed as leads in the Black & Latino Playwrights Festival and multiple plays at her Alma mater, Off-Broadway in Five: The Parody Musical, regionally At Transcendence Theater as a understudy for Georgie and featured ensemble in The Full Monty. She has trained with industry leaders, including Andy Blankenbuehler, Betsy Wolfe, Gavin Creel, and Alex Newell. As a producer and director, Anyae created TXST’s first Young, Gifted, and Black celebration, which garnered media attention and was invited to perform at TEDx. Originally from Atlanta and raised in Orlando, she is dedicated to honoring legacy, amplifying underrepresented voices, and creating work that explores faith, humanity, and liberation.
