Currently, Brian Purcell has two concert productions touring internationally, The Soul of Broadway starring Terron Brooks, and The Company Men, an internationally recognized pop vocal group. In 2011, he founded 4 Times Entertainment, Inc. a full service Entertainment/Production Company based out of Burbank, California. 4XE prides themselves on delivering the highest level entertainment while being cost effective, flexible and meeting their client’s needs. No event is too big or too small.  We secure entertainment for all types of venues and markets from dance bands to “A” list talent.

Prior to creating Company Men, Purcell was the president of Flicker House Productions, a production company dedicated to and focused on bringing quality stories and characters to its audiences. While running Flicker House, he produced and directed a number of shows, including An Evening with Stephen Sondheim and Andrew Lloyd Webber, Chess The Musical, which raised funds for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, and a workshop of the new musical Too Many Blondes, starring multiple AVN award-winner Stormy Daniels. He also launched a critically acclaimed production of The Who’s Tommy, which ran at The Montalban Theatre in Hollywood, California. The year was 2008 and for the first time in live theatre, audience members were able to experience a show in high definition 3D audio, presented by EXP3D while wearing BOSE headphones. He also produced The Question, an indie rock ballet.

Performance credits include the Broadway national tour of Jesus Christ Superstar, Footloose, Ragtime, and Evita. Purcell has been blessed to direct such seasoned actors as Tony® winner Alice Ripley (original Broadway cast member of Side Show, Sunset Blvd., and Les Miserables), Tony® Susan Egan (Broadway’s original Belle in Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, Cabaret), Emmy and Tony® nominee Matthew Morrison (“Glee,” Broadway’s South Pacific, The Light in the Piazza, Hairspray’s original Link Larkin), Ty Taylor (Vintage Trouble, CBS’s “Rock Star: INXS,” We Will Rock You, Broadway’s Joseph and the Amazing…) and Grammy nominee Nona Hendryx.
