A Nonprofit Cabaret Venue

Gavin Kenny is a graduate of the University of Michigan’s Musical Theater Department. Recently, he performed the role of The Proprietor in Gallery Players’ production of Stephen Sondheim’s Assassins, for which he received the 2023 BroadwayWorld Award for Best Performance in a Musical. The prior year, he was nominated for the same award for his portrayal of Buddy the elf in ELF at the iconic Count Basie Theater. In addition to his vast musical theatre resume, Gavin has performed as a soloist in cabarets and concerts throughout New York City: 54 Below, Symphony Stage, The Duplex, Don’t Tell Mama, Birdland, Skirball, Beechman. He has recorded with Tony winners and nominees Gavin Creel, Kate Baldwin, and Celia Keenan-Bolger, as well as performing as a soloist with acclaimed pianists Mark Hartman, James Horan, Jerry DePuit, Bob Egan, and Sam Davis. Much like The Carpenters, his favorite singing will always be in childhood with his sister Christy, to whom he dedicates this performance.
