James Woods
James Woods is a NY-based music director and pianist. Originally hailing from Washington D.C., he holds a BM in music composition from The Catholic University of America. Regional credits include The Kennedy Center, Signature Theatre, Westport Country Playhouse, New London Barn Playhouse, and Trinity Rep, among others. He served as the tour music director for the national tour of A Charlie Brown Christmas for the past two winters. He most recently music directed the New York premiere of Distant Thunder off-Broadway at A.R.T./NY Theatres. At 54 Below he was last seen music directing select shows of Brenda Braxton’s Stars Tonight series.
