Janey Miles & Bela Konstancja
Janey & Bela are musical storytellers for Stage and Screen. After meeting at the Graduate Musical Theater Writing Program at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts in 2019, Janey & Bela began collaborating on character-driven, pop influenced musical projects. Their original pop musical REAL PEOPLE THINGS had a concert presentation at the Two River Theater as part of their Plaza Players Summer series in July of 2021, and went on to have a sold out, one night only concert at 54 Below in February 2022. REAL PEOPLE THINGS was a Semifinalist for the 2022 O’Neill National Music Theater Conference and the Janey & Bela were featured in American Popular Song Society’s 17th ANNUAL SONGWRITER SHOWCASE at Don’t Tell Mama in May 2022.
