Josh Canfield
Josh Canfield is a versatile artist with talents that span both Broadway and television. As an actor, he appeared on Broadway, Off-Broadway, and at A.R.T., in the Tony Award®– winning production of Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812. The Great Comet marked his second Broadway show, following Doctor Zhivago, but he is perhaps most recognized from his season on CBS’ “Survivor: San Juan Del Sur.” In 2019, he toured in the Broadway production of Falsettos, directed by James Lapine, covering the roles of Marvin and Whizzer. Josh has been in over 20 regional theatre productions including Anything Goes as Billy, opposite Andrea McArdle and Sally Struthers (Ogunquit Playhouse), and Cabaret (Emcee), Memphis (Huey), and The Rocky Horror Picture Show (Rocky) all at the Gateway Playhouse. Originally from Michigan, he received his MFA from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. Josh has been writing and composing for over 15 years and his works have been performed in London at the Shaw Theatre, and in New York City at the Signature Theatre and Ars Nova.
