Kathryn Lloyd
Kathryn Lloyd is a rising senior at the University at Buffalo majoring in Musical Theatre and Minoring in American Sign Language and Creative Writing. Performance Credits include University at Buffalo’s Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella (Madame) and University at Buffalo’s The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Rona Lisa Peretti). She recently worked for Deaf Austin Theatre as their Summer Intern, where she assisted Artistic Director Dr. Brian Cheslik and Producer Jo-Ann Dean in fundraising and promoting their production of The Laramie Project. She also served at the Production Assistant for Broadway SIGNs! PRIDE! Fundraiser, benefitting Deaf Austin Theatre. She plans to attend graduate school next fall to major in American Sign Language Interpretation, and hopes to help work toward increasing Deaf/Disabled accessibility and representation within the entertainment industry in the future.
