Mark Chimsky
Mark Evan Chimsky’s play Meeting Fingerman is the winner of the Honegger Prize for Best Short Play 2024, which was produced by the Firehouse Center for the Arts and the Barrington Stage Company. His plays, musicals, and songs have been performed at the Boston Conservatory at Berklee, The Authenticity Theater, Left Coast Theatre Co., Stage Q, James Madison University’s Madison New Works Lab, The Green Room 42, The Open Eye Theater’s Playtime series on WXIO radio, the Dramatists Guild’s Friday Night Footlights Reading Series, Maine Playwrights Festival, and Atlanta Jewish Artists. His play A Different Truth was a semi-finalist for the Jewish Plays Project’s Ten-Minute Play Festival. His one-act play, The Secret Muse, about Edmund Shakespeare, received a staged reading at the Wisconsin Shakespeare Festival.
