Meghan Murphy
Meghan Murphy is a Joseph Jefferson Award-winning actor, singer, producer, cabaret & recording artist who most recently made her New York City Center debut in the critically acclaimed The Wild Party (Madelaine). “A towering inferno of talent” (BroadwayWorld), Meghan is a multi-hyphenate, excelling in the worlds of theater, music and cabaret. As an actor, she won the Best Lead Performance Jeff Award for her portrayal of Reno Sweeney in Anything Goes with Porchlight Theater in 2024, starred alongside Norm Lewis in La Cage Aux Folles at The Muny in 2025, and has earned seven total nominations for her work in Chicago’s musical theatre scene.
Other credits/nominations include: Spamalot (Lady of the Lake), Mamma Mia! (Tanya), City of Angels (Oolie/Donna), The Who’s Tommy (Acid Queen), Cabaret (Frauline Kost), Smokey Joe’s Cafe (Patti), and many more. As a cabaret artist, she’s garnered the nickname “Big Red” and has been touring the world on both land and sea as a Global Artist with Blackburn International, Vacaya & Brand g Vacations.
Big Red is a fierce LGBTQIAP ally and is often selling out performances in NYC (54 Below), London (Crazy Coqs), Palm Springs (Purple Room), Rehoboth Beach (Blue Moon) & Puerto Vallarta, Mexico (The Palm). Meghan has two EPs by her Chicago-based blues band Everybody Says Yes, available on all streaming services. Meghan is a graduate of The Boston Conservatory and is represented by Stewart Talent.
