A Nonprofit Cabaret Venue

A person with braided hair pulled back is gazing to the side, reminiscent of a portrait by Melanie Puente Ervin. They have subtle makeup focusing on the eyes and wear a nose ring and hoop earrings. Their top is dark, accented by a delicate necklace, against an off-white background.

Melanie (she/her) is an Afro-Latina actor, singer, songwriter, producer and overall artist from Voorhees, New Jersey. Melanie is passionate about expanding empathy and understanding by representing her communities both on and off the stage. Her mission is to use art to curate real change. Melanie was most recently seen in the national tour of Hairspray as a Dynamite and Motormouth Maybelle understudy. She was also featured in Scott Siegel’s Broadway: The Next Generation, formally Broadway’s Rising Stars. Keep an eye out for her debut EP dropping in the fall! To those who never stop believing in me: Thank you, I couldn’t begin to articulate your impact.
