Born on, with, and for a PURPOSE, Nia Thompson is an actor, singer, VO artist, and activist. After concluding her run as “Young Nala” in Disney’s The Lion King on Broadway, Nia is set to make history as the youngest executive producer in Hollywood with her upcoming film One Mic, starring alongside award-winning actor Malik Yoba.

Previously, Nia was best known for voicing and singing the Disney viral hit “Super Bonnet” in the animated short series “Rise Up, Sing Out.” Nia has enjoyed recurring roles in Netflix’s Emmy-winning animated series “Ada Twist, Scientist” and “Godfather of Harlem,” where she portrayed the daughter of historic icons Malcolm X and Betty Shabazz. She has also appeared in “The Equalizer” and “Sesame Street” and has an upcoming guest-starring role in the Hulu series “Washington Black.”
