Shemaiah Red
Shemaiah Red is a renaissance woman: a soul/R&B vocalist, singer-songwriter, actress, dancer, and spoken word artist, and more whose artistry is rooted in storytelling, resilience, and faith. A proud Spelman College graduate, Shemaiah has taken her gifts from the HBCU stage to national television as a contestant on season 21 of “America’s Got Talent” with The Community ATL Choir! Now returning to 54 Below for her third show at the iconic venue, this performance marks her fourth New York City show!
Through every opportunity, Shemaiah Red gives God the glory, knowing that He is at the helm of her journey and the reason every door has opened. Whether she is singing, dancing, acting, or writing, Shemaiah creates with the intention to move people, remind them of their power, and leave them with a little more hope than they came with.
