Safin Karim
Safin Karim is thrilled to be music directing Nostalgia Bait at 54 Below this September with such a fantastic team! Safin is a stage performer, pianist, and music director based in NYC – currently completing his Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance at NYU: Steinhardt. Previous music direction credits include Spring Awakening, Parade, and The Bridges of Madison County. Safin has worked as a music educator, teaching students from the ages of 6 through 18 in Florida (his hometown), Washington State, and NYC. Safin has had the pleasure of working with artists such as Kelli O’Hara, Paige Davis, and Alan Menken as an accompanist and music assistant.
