Sami Kennett is beyond thrilled to be originating her first ever lead role as Jill in JILTED at 54 Below. Before moving to NYC, Sami received her BFA in Musical Theatre from Kent State University. She is currently a singing server at Gayle’s Broadway Rose in Times Square where she belts out Broadway’s Top 50 day in and day out. Her most recent credits include…Female Lead Swing in Little Women (US Nat. Tour 2024), Ensemble in Jekyll and Hyde (WPPAC), Emma Goldman in Tintypes (Porthouse Professional Theatre), and Sheila in Hair (Kent State University). She has also had the opportunity to work in recording studios across the city with incredible artists and musicians such as Stephen Oremus (SMASH, Wicked, Disney’s Frozen) and Kooman & Dimond (Finn, Out of Our Heads). She is so grateful to The LINK Program for shooting her off into the theatre world of NYC and to her incredible manager Ally Taylor who works so hard for her to be seen at as many auditions as possible. She also wants to thank her mom and dad for always believing in her, her best friends for their undying support, and her boyfriend Albert for his unwavering love.
