SHEILA WORMER has toured much of the world performing opera, concerts, musicals; appearing with CBS-TV, RAI-TV, Paramount Pictures, Columbia Artists, Attersee Musikheim, Sankt Georgan Oper, Salzburg Music Festival, Festa Italiana, Cleveland Opera, Tampa Bay Opera, Opera Northeast, Metro Civic Opera, International Opera Ltd, Manhattan Savoyards, M&M American Dance Theatre, Seattle Symphony, Cascade Symphony Orchestra, The Erie Philharmonic, Queens Symphony, Yakama Symphony Orchestra, Premier Records, Albany Records, and many more. She has performed over 50 roles, including Cio Cio San, MADAMA BUTTERFLY; Tosca, TOSCA; both Mimi and Musetta, LA BOHEME; Lauretta, GIANNI SCHICCHI; Fiordeligi, COSI FAN TUTTI; The Marschalin, DER ROSENKAVALIER; Violetta, LA TRAVIATA; Nedda, I PAGLIACCI (dancing the comedia del arte section on pointe); Papagena, MAGIC FLUTE (on pointe); all 4 loves in THE TALES OF HOFFMANN (Olympia on pointe); Magnolia, SHOW BOAT; Kathie, THE STUDENT PRINCE; Mother Abbess, SOUND OF MUSIC; and many of the Gilbert and Sullivan leading ladies. Sheila has been dance captain on several national tours; toured internationally playing all of Mario Lanza’s leading ladies in SALUTE TO MARIO LANZA; has film credits, including BETTER RED THAN DEAD and Miss Fish in EVERY VOTE COUNTS; and has written and performed her one woman show I FENG SHUI-ED MY SUITCASE.
