Spencer Lynn
Spencer Lynn (He/Him/His): is a writer of stage and screen based in New York City. As a Musical Theatre writer, Spencer’s work has headlined such iconic NYC Cabaret Venues as 54 Below, The Green Room 42, and The Laurie Beechman Theatre, and has been performed all around the country. His first original musical, MOONRISE (Book, Music, & Lyrics), received a fully funded world premiere production through Shenandoah Conservatory in May of 2022. His second musical, THE KIDS OF TACOMA (Book, Music, & Lyrics), received a workshop in January of 2023. As a Filmmaker, Spencer’s first screenplay WHAT I’D GIVE YOU was, a finalist for the 2023 Bluecat Screenplay Competition, a Semifinalist for the 2023 Final Draft Big Break Screenplay Competition, a Semifinalist for the Filmmatic Short Screenplay Awards, and was selected for the London Script Awards. The film is currently in Pre-Production with Spencer as director. Spencer received his Masters of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre Writing at NYU in 2025, and a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre from Shenandoah Conservatory in May 2022.
