A Nonprofit Cabaret Venue

Sydney Zarlengo (they/them) is an openly queer, trans/non-binary, disabled, and autistic multi-hyphenate working toward integrating accessibility and inclusion into mainstream theaters and educational spaces, as well as recontextualizing theater history through a disability lens. They are most known for staging the world’s first all-neurodivergent cast & crew production of THE CURIOUS INCIDENT OF THE DOG IN THE NIGHT-TIME and creating the subsequent documentary. Their hyphens include actor – dramaturg – YouTuber – media analyst – disability educator – and theater access reviewer. Regardless of medium, their work focuses on looking at the world differently and appreciating every messy aspect of what it means to be human, with a goal of integrating accessibility into mainstream theaters and educational spaces.
