Andrew Kober’s Koberet: Fatherhood Edition
March 16, 2017
Three-time Tony Award eligible actor, unemployed Broadway favorite, and new dad, Andrew Kober, returns to Feinstein’s/54 Below for the sixth edition of his one-man show, Koberet. First seen by dozens of Ohioans in The Shaker Heights High School Large Auditorium, this updated Koberet is an even more self-indulgent version of the phenomenon that took the midwest by storm fifteen years ago. Featuring songs by Otis Redding, Marc Broussard, and Billy Joel as well as Jason Robert Brown, Drew Gasparini, and Stephen Sondheim, Andrew (She Loves Me, Les Miserables, Hair) muses on coming out, going in, gaining weight, and getting thin. Andrew wrote this largely by himself.
Featuring special guest Caissie Levy and a special appearance from The (M)orons, Alex Brightman, F. Michael Haynie, and Drew Gasparini.
