Tony Award nominee Anika Larsen teams up with her husband and jazz trumpet player Freddie Maxwell for their Feinstein’s/54 Below and New York City debut of The Larsen/Maxwell Quintet.
Best known for her role as Cynthia Weil in Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, Anika also performed on Broadway in Avenue Q, Xanadu, All Shook Up, and Rent. Freddie toured with luminaries such as Frank Sinatra and Alicia Keys. Recounting memorable moments in their careers, this show is the musical story of their worlds coming together. It’s a jazzy, sexy spin on Broadway, pop, and Latin tunes that were pivotal in their lives, featuring songs from Anika’s album Sing You To Sleep.
