Three years after her sold out hit evening at Feinstein’s/54 Below, Ann Morrison returns with a new show! Join us for an evening of timeless classics from Musical Theater, Jazz, Pop and Blues when Ann Morrison (Merrily We Roll Along, Lovemusik, Goblin Market) takes the stage.

An indispensable member of Sarasota’s theatre family, Ann settled in the area after a performance career in NYC and around the country. She is well-known for starring as Mary Flynn in the original Broadway production of Stephen Sondheim’s Merrily We Roll Along. This new cabaret The Furniture Set, was actually inspired by Sarasota’s Home Resource Furniture store, which is sometimes offered to artists as an alternative theater space. Ann wondered:  Does anyone buy furniture after seeing a play here? Why do owners offer their space to artists? The cabaret that emerged includes songs ranging from “On A Clear Day You Can SeeForever” by Lerner and Loewe to Crosby, Stills and Nash’s song “Our House”. Expect original numbers too, as well as songs from Ann’s life and career.
