In her first sold-out 54 Below cabaret last spring, Anne Bobby excavated rare and unheard songs collected over her thirty-plus years as a performer. Now she goes back even further, delving into the nearly forgotten masterpieces that shaped her Jersey childhood, featuring songs from the Bee Gees, Tom Waits, ELO, Bruce Springsteen (of course) and, as K-Tel used to boast, “Much, much MORE!” Featuring Christopher Schelling, Shannon Ford and a kick-ass lineup of guests and backup, Back to My Routes is a sophomore outing that anyone who grew up in the 70’s (or wishes they did) needs to see.
