Barn Theatre – A Celebration
April 28, 2017
Join us in celebrating the history of the Barn Theatre, one of the oldest Equity Summer Stock Theatres in the country, as they prepare for their 71st season. This will be a very special Feinstein’s/54 Below show, featurnig everyone from “Barnies” from seasons past to the theater’s 2016 Equity Resident Company to some some extra special guests! The Barn Theatre was founded by Jack Ragotzy and Betty Ebert in 1946 as “The Village Players.” Now, seventy years later, the Barn Theatre School for Advanced Theatre Training is the only remaining summer stock of it’s kind: employing actors for a summer and an experience of a lifetime. Help us show our gratitude to the current owners of the Barn, Brendan Ragotzy and Penelope Alex, for their commitment to inspiring young performers and their dedication to keeping the family tradition alive. Join us for this spectacular evening of entertainment as we sing some of Broadway’s favorites!!
