
Beth Malone Sings 1990s Lesbian Icons and Starstruck

Tony® nominee Beth Malone returns to 54 Below for the first time in 5 years in a brand new concert celebrating 1990s lesbian icons including the Indigo Girls, k.d. lang, Tracy Chapman, Melissa Etheridge, and more. Best known for originating the role of (Big) Alison in the groundbreaking and celebrated Tony® winning musical Fun Home, based on Alison Bechdel’s graphic memoir of the same name, Malone now brings songs and personal stories to the stage.
Beth made her Broadway debut in Ring of Fire and has gone on to star in The Unsinkable Molly Brown (off-Broadway, Denver Center, MUNY), and off-Broadway in The Marvelous Wonderettes and Bingo. In 2018, she played the Angel in the Broadway run of the star-studded production of Angels in America, directed by Marianne Elliott and starring Nathan Lane and Andrew Garfield. She has performed her one-woman show, Beth Malone: So Far, to great acclaim in venues across the country.

Malone has appeared in many television and feature film projects that include the upcoming coming feature Song Sung Blue from director Craig Brewer and the Oscar nominated tick, tick…..Boom! from Lin-Manuel Miranda, “Five Days At Memorial,” and “City On Fire” for Apple TV+, “Grey’s Anatomy” for ABC, and many others.
Malone and her wife Rochelle split their time between New York City and Colorado with their three dogs Smashburger, Bat Girl, and Molly Brown.
