Acclaimed musical theatre writers Gretchen Cryer & Nancy Ford headline a late-night cabaret featuring women composers and lyricists, presented by The Directory of Contemporary Musical Theatre Writers. Featured are a rich and eclectic mix of songs by some of today’s most exciting women writers, including: Jill Abromowitz, Masi Asare, Linda Dowdell, Beth Falcone, Jenny Giering, Shaina Taub, Sara Wordsworth and many others. Presented in conjunction with City Center’s new Encores! “Off-Center” series (spearheaded by Artistic Director Jeanine Tesori), which kicks off this month with their debut production, Cryer & Ford’s revered I’m Getting My Act Together and Taking it On the Road.
