Broadway Back to School 2016
September 26, 2016
The International Thespian Society’s second annual New York Alumni Council event, Broadway Back to School, is a benefit to support theatre arts education for underserved students. Join co-hosts Hunter Bell ([title of show], Found) and Susan Blackwell ([title of show], Birdman, P.S. I Love You, Margot at the Wedding) for a fun-filled, fast-paced evening as we celebrate the theatre arts and all the young people whose dreams, talent and energy make theatre possible.
Directed by Seth Rettberg (Avenue Q) and Music Direction by Christine Riley (Theatre faculty – Marymount Manhattan College) join Broadway and television star Jenna Ushkowitz (Waitress, Glee, The King and I), 2015 Jimmy Award winner Marla Louissaint (Caroline, or Change; Encores!), Julia Murney (Wicked, Lennon, The Vagina Monologues, and Drama Desk nominations Falling and The Wild Party), Carla Stickler (Wicked), Tony Award-winning and Pulitzer Prize-nominated author Stephen Karam (The Humans, Sons of the Prophet), and Graham Rowat (Mamma Mia, Guys and Dolls, LoveMusik, Dracula) for this great event.
You don’t want to miss this entertaining benefit where you can catch up with old friends and meet the movers and shakers in the theatre education community.
