Powerhouse vocalist Chris Pinnella (Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Simeon’s Gift by Julie Andrews), returns to Feinstein’s/54 Below with his brand new concert Illuminate: Classical Crossover’s Best. Featuring stunning new arrangements by Broadway’s Justin Hornback (Hello Dolly, School of Rock, Pippin, and more) and featuring special guest soloists, all backed by an 8-Piece Orchestra.
Expect to hear songs by crossover titans Josh Groban and Andrea Bocelli as well as Roy Orbison, The Righteous Brothers, Leonard Cohen and many more. Duet arrangements of James Bay’s “Running,” Taylor Swift’s “This Love,” and the Celine Dion hit “The Prayer” are also on tap for this incredible night. Join Pinnella and his friends for an unforgettable evening of contemporary hits, beautiful ballads, and soaring duets that will both move and inspire you.
The evening will feature Jenna Ushkowitz (Waitress, Glee, Spring Awakening), as well as a 12-Piece Choir comprised of students from Pinnella’s alma mater Marymount Manhattan College.
