‘Life is a Caba-RAE: A Scot in New York!’

George Rae, the “breakout star” of the 2017 London Premiere of Nathan Lane’s revised version of The Frogs, and the three-time award nominated star of the 2015 London revival of Grand Hotel and 2016 London Premiere of Adding Machine: A Musical, makes his Feinstein’s/54 Below and New York City concert debut. Recalling anecdotes from his blossoming career beginning as a young Scot in London, George performs songs that have defined him as a personality within the London musical theatre circuit and also some more personal Celtic music. Having recently been featured in Mark Shenton’s 2017 list of the ten best men in UK musical theatre, this exhilarating Scottish performer is not to be missed.

Special guests include Tony-nominee and Drama Desk-winner Lauren Worsham (A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder – Tony Award nomination), Stephen Carlile (The Lion KingThe Go-Between), Valerie Cutko (Tommy Tune’s Grand Hotel), Morgan Keene (Disney’s 1st National Broadway Tour of Newsies) and music from Joshua Schmidt – the composer of the award winning Adding Machine: A Musical (2008 Lucille Lortel Award and Outer Critics Circle Award winner).  Additional special guest soon to be announced.

Produced by Amy Martinez-Miller & Joshua Schmidt.  Music direction by Jon Ranger (The Lion King), direction by Harry Blumenau.
