A concert raising money to help three couples in the theatre community rebuild their weddings after the sudden closure of reBar. On May 9th, the popular Brooklyn wedding venue reBar shut down with zero notice, its owner taking couples’ money and leaving them scrambling for new plans. Three of the couples affected by reBar’s closing will be performing: Billy Bustamante (Here Lies Love, Public Theatre), Maggie McNeil and Tara Siesener (Hairspray, Las Vegas & all over, Saturday Night Fever).
Broadway Performers include Emily Ferranti (Wicked), Jed Resnick (Avenue Q, Rent), Jerome Bell (American Idol Season 10 Semi-Finalist, opening act for Destiny’s Child, Debut EP “Electric Soul” available worldwide), Marisa Kennedy (Matilda, Billy Elliot National Tour), and singer-songwriter Julian Velard.
