Jillian Louis
August 17, 2018
From producer/director Scott Siegel:
You don’t know Jillian Louis, but you should. Seriously, you really should. There are a rare number of performers with the gift to make you laugh and cry (at the same time). And like the most memorable of musical theater stars, she does not fit a category; she transcends categories. Charm. Allure. And a quirky, unique talent that is off the charts. Yes, you should know Jillian Louis. And in this brand new show at Feinstein’s/54 Below, all shall be revealed in dramatic fashion. And in comic style. You don’t know Jillian Louis, but soon you will…
Here’s what we do know about her, though: she’s a multi-award winning musical theater star who made her Broadway debut in the David Hyde Pierce directed It Shoulda Been You.
Please come join us for this evening of beloved songs exploring how we may not know each other but are already connected via all the things we share: heartbreak, anger, love, humor. You Don’t Know Me, except that you really do, as we’re all not so different.
Jillian Louis: You Don’t Know Me will be produced and directed by NYC impresario Scott Siegel, who has produced, written, and directed shows for Michael Feinstein and is, perhaps, best know as the creator/writer/director/host of Town Hall’s signature series Broadway by the Year. He happily continues his long association with the great Jillian Louis.
