Jonathan Poretz: When Vegas was VEGAS!
May 15, 2018
Following a series of sold out engagements at Feinstein’s at the Nikko in San Francisco, New York City native Jonathan Poretz makes his Feinstein’s/54 Below debut with his highly acclaimed show, When Vegas Was VEGAS!
Backed by his swingin’ mini big band, Poretz, who has toured the US and Europe in various productions as Frank Sinatra, recreates the heyday of a young Las Vegas, bringing a ‘60s vibe to the Feinstein’s/54 Below stage with music, comedy, and uniquely told stories about a bygone era. His authentic, big band arrangements of everyone’s favorite songs from the vast catalogs of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Bobby Darin and Sammy Davis, Jr, include such celebrated classics as “I’ve Got You Under My Skin,” “Fly Me To The Moon,” “Ain’t That A Kick In The Head,” “That’s Amore,” “What Kind Of Fool Am I,” “Mack The Knife,” “Splish Splash”, “My Way,” “New York, New York,” and many more. Join us for an unforgettable evening.
