Lady Gay: All of Me, starring William Louis Bailey/Jada Valenciaga
October 11, 2016
Lady Gay: All of Me tells the journey of William Louis Bailey growing up as a gay man in Missouri and moving to New York City to discover his true self and genuine identity. Bailey’s alter ego, “Jada Valenciaga” has become a New York City household drag name performing in every major bar and nightclub in New York City. His quick rise to popularity has landed him headlining spots in shows like “Queen” at Industry Bar, GURLESQUE at Barracuda Bar, and at Señor Frogs NYC famous drag brunch in Times Square. Lady Gay: All of Me is the story of Bailey/Valenciaga not only finding himself, but truly accepting and loving who he is. Directed by MAC Award Nominated Joshua Warr, who’s critically acclaimed show Love & Warr sold out at Feinstein’s/54 Below in 2015 and musically directed by Ricky Romano, fresh from his successful run with Off-broadway’s Ruthless! The Musical, Bailey brings you music from some of our favorite broadway shows, to pop, rock, and R&B, and debuting some of his own original music. After a sold out limited engagement at the now historic Stonewall Inn, Lady Gay: All of Me comes to the Feinstein’s/54 Below stage, newly extended, with even more music sharing Bailey’s story of love, family, courage, and acceptance – themes everyone can find prevalent in life.
