Lisa Jason: Another Hundred People
May 1, 2017
Starting over. Again.
Following her evening at Feinstein’s/54 Below celebrating Judy Garland, Lisa Jason is back with a more personal show. Having relocated to NYC in the midst of a divorce, Lisa Jason is trying to get to Broadway through acting/voice/dance/improv classes, building a business, creating one woman shows, networking and meeting lots of people while living alone in a one bedroom apartment in the Village amidst daily hotflashes.
A singer and songwriter, Lisa’s song “Beautiful Child” was adopted by The March Of Dimes organization for their national campaign, and was performed by Lisa and the Cape Cod Symphony at their Pops in the Park concert. She has been a guest artist with such legendary groups as Huey Lewis and the News, KC and the Sunshine Band, Otis Day and the Nights, The Hooters, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and the original cast of the Jersey Boys. She has also performed at the special request of Aerosmith and sung The National Anthem at Fenway Park. Lisa has had the privilege of singing with Alan Menken and has appeared as a guest on Dr. Oz.
Another Hundred People pairs Lisa alongside some of the greats from the Great White Way singing some of the most loved songs that have inspired her throughout her life.
Her heart has been through the ringer, her life has been turned upside down, but she’s still here.
