Opus Two has been internationally recognized for its “divine phrases, impelling rhythm, elastic ensemble and stunning sounds.” Comprised of award-winning musicians violinist William Terwilliger and pianist Andrew Cooperstock, the venerable duo celebrates the release of their new recording Gershwin—Music for Violin and Piano, featuring transcriptions of Porgy and Bess, An American in Paris, Short Story, Three Piano Preludes, and new arrangements of classic songs from Girl Crazy, as well as Love Walked In and Nice Work If You Can Get It with Broadway star Ashley Brown. Broadway director Eric Stern hosts this multimedia evening that includes performances of these works accompanied by videos, slides, and narration.
