Tony Award® winner Paulo Szot returns with a brand new show in honor of Valentine’s Day week. On the occasion of his 14th engagement at 54 Below, Szot will premiere a breathtaking lineup of songs selected to surprise and delight his fans, alongside his traditional repertoire and the classic standards that made him a global sensation. Backed by an 8-piece orchestra led by Luke Frazier, Szot brings his legendary operatic power and charm to every single song.
For his legendary Broadway debut in South Pacific, Paulo Szot won the Tony Award®, Drama Desk Award, Outer Critics Circle Award, and Theatre World Award. On Broadway, he has also starred as Billy Flynn in Chicago, originated the role of Lance in the hit musical & Juliet, and brought his commanding presence to the underworld as Hades in Hadestown.
Paulo is an internationally acclaimed, multi-award-winning baritone. He has captivated audiences across the globe and performed major roles at the world’s most prestigious concert hall and opera houses, including ten seasons with the Metropolitan Opera, Teatro alla Scala, and the Paris Opera.
