A Nonprofit Cabaret Venue

“How do you move forward when you’re young, bright and full of debt?” Join us at Feinstein’s/54 Below for the NYC premiere of How to Quit Your Day Job, a funky, original musical by Star Johnson (book, lyrics and music). This story of four young artists trying to balance their art and the uncomfortable realities of adulthood, enjoyed a sold out run at the Capital Fringe Festival in Washington, DC last summer and received the festival’s Best Musical Award. With influences ranging from Jonathan Larson to the Roots, this electric new work boasts such catchy and pulsing tunes as “Generation In Between”, “Trust-fund, baby”, “Stephen, Andy, Jon and Lin,” and many more!  With a diverse cast of four that DC Metro Theater Arts calls “the most adorable conduits of a playwright’s vision since Avenue Q or [title of show]“, you don’t want to miss a chance to see this hot new musical!
