Feinstein’s/54 Below solo debut! Now’s your chance to see a Broadway star in the making. Come meet Rachel Levy, the 17-year-old Montville New Jersey high school student who recently made her television debut in TLC’s special Broadway At The White House. Michelle Obama and Stephen Schwartz gave this high school student a standing ovation for her duet of “For Good” with Kristin Chenoweth… and Chenoweth selected Rachel herself for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity! Now Rachel brings her very own concert to the stage. Join Rachel as she performs songs from the artists and shows that have influenced her the most – from Sarah Bareilles and Ingrid Michaelson to Wicked and Les Miserables.
At the age of eight, Rachel performed in her first Off-Broadway show at the York Theater in several roles in the show The People Garden. She hasn’t stopped performing since! As a member of the Mayo Performing Arts Center teen troupe, Rachel has performed with her troupe alongside many Broadway stars including Patti LuPone, Marvin Hamlisch, Kelli O’Hara, Brian Stokes Mitchell, and the rock band Foreigner. Rachel starred as Eponine in MPAC’s musical production of Les Miserables this past spring, and this past summer she studied at Berklee College of Music. It is Rachel’s greatest dream to appear on Broadway one day… come join her as she shares her dreams in song!
Produced by Van Dean. Musical direction by Michael J. Moritz Jr.. Directed by Pat Cerasaro.
