Mother to three. Grandmother to four. And she’s only twenty eight.
Yes, its true. Actress Rebecca Spigelman suffers from “You Look So Much Older” Syndrome, a disease affecting many high school actresses who look much older than their actual age. This disease then leads them to getting cast in roles that they would never play in the real world.
In this hysterical cabaret, Rebecca, and some very special guests, use the music of Judy Garland, Ethel Merman, Ann Miller and more, to champion the plight of actresses who know what its like to use an eyebrow pencil for wrinkle lines, baby powder for hair coloring, and where to trade character shoes for sensible orthopedics.
This is Rebecca’s solo concert debut! She has been seen in numerous concerts at Feinstein’s/54 Below including Twisted in Concert presented by Team Starkid and hosted by Darren Criss. Other concert venues include the Laurie Beechman and the National Comedy Theatre. Regionally, Rebecca has been seen across the country from Arizona to Connecticut performing in shows such as Hair, [title of show], and Hairspray. She is a proud member of Actor’s Equity.
