A Nonprofit Cabaret Venue

New York nightclub stalwarts (and 54 Below favorites) Seth Sikes & Nicolas King team up for a New Year’s Eve celebration that’s sure to send you out into 2025 singing and swinging! With the inimitable Billy Stritch on piano, the boys promise to deliver what EdgeMedia calls “possibly the best duo act to hit cabaret and concert stages since Steve and Eydie!”

The pair teamed up in 2022, and have since played nearly 100 concerts together from New York to Los Angeles, Las Vegas to Chicago, Puerto Vallarta to the Caribbean, and everywhere in between- to critical acclaim. Stephen Mosher of BroadwayWorldwrites: “Nicolas King and Seth Sikes… have hit upon some magic formula, some unfathomable chemistry, and some of the greatest harmonies in the free world by becoming a duo act.  Every song sung sounded like the best thing you’ve ever heard.  Every arrangement, every parody lyric, every medley (all created by The New Belters, themselves) is a work of art.”

King is an award-winning artist who’s been ‘belting’ out tunes since he was 4-years-old, having been seen in dozens of TV commercials, and numerous times on Broadway opposite Tom Selleck, Carol Burnett, Linda Lavin and Andrea McArdle. King was the longest running “Chip” in Disney’s Beauty And The Beast. He toured the country as Liza Minnelli’s opening act, and has performed on stages all over the world from Carnegie Hall to The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.

Sikes is one of New York City’s most popular nightclub singers. His critically-acclaimed tributes to Judy Garland (which won two BroadwayWorld Awards), Liza Minnelli, and Bernadette Peters are a consistent draw for audiences around the world. The hardworking Sikes, a native of Texas, was also Associate Director on the multiple Tony Award®-winning musical The Band’s Visit.

Billy Stritch has been a presence on the New York and national nightclub scene for nearly four decades. He began his career in Houston where he formed the vocal trio Montgomery, Plant and Stritch. The group performed all over New York and Europe from 1983 until they parted ways in 1990. That same year, Billy started his solo performing career. He is perhaps best known for his 25-year position as musical director and pianist for Liza Minnelli and has also toured with Linda Eder, Melissa Manchester, Marilyn Maye, Linda Lavin, and the late Tony Bennett among many others. His 1993 composition “Does He Love You” won the Grammy Award and was recently recorded by Reba McEntire and Dolly Parton garnering another Grammy nomination in 2023. Billy was named Outstanding Musical Director for the fourth time by BroadwayWorld and his 2022 birthday show at New York’s famed Birdland Jazz Club was named Outstanding Vocal Jazz Engagement of the year.
