Be the first to get a glimpse of the Canadian invasion in store for New York City. Toronto’s highly-celebrated Soulpepper Theatre Company makes its New York City debut at Feinstein’s/54 Below! Join founding Artistic Director Albert Schultz, Mike Ross, national treasure Jackie Richardson and others for an original Canadian cabaret: an evening of story and song, including selections from the Canadian songbook and contemporary classics. The evening will be a preview of “Soulpepper on 42nd Street: Canada Crosses The Border,” a celebration of Soulpepper’s 20th anniversary and Canada’s 150th birthday this summer at The Pershing Square Signature Center and will feature works from the company’s original musicals such as Spoon River, Silver Medalist at the most recent New York Festivals Radio Award and winner of Best Musical from the Toronto Theatre Critics Association. www.soulpepper.org
