The Songs of Julian Hornik with Gideon Glick, Solea Pfeiffer, and more!
July 29, 2018
Julian Hornik – accompanied by a slew of special guests – presents a night of new musical theater songs from shows written, being written, and to be written, largely drawn from the gay literary canon.
Julian Hornik is the composer of Tenn, a new musical based on the early life of Tennessee Williams, which premiered at Symphony Space in NY, and was further developed at the Wallis Annenberg Center in Beverly Hills through the ASCAP Workshop, directed by Stephen Schwartz. His musical adaptation of Jame’s Baldwin’s Giovanni’s Room premiered at Yale in 2015. He has performed his songs at the Kennedy Center, New York City Center (with Sutton Foster and Jonathan Groff), and with the San Francisco and Los Angeles Gay Men’s Choruses. He is a recent graduate of Yale University, and the recipient of the 2017 ASCAP Lucille and Jack Yellen Award.
