A Nonprofit Cabaret Venue

Two critically acclaimed artists come together for the first time for this highly anticipated show. “Separate Ways” stars “Best Outstanding Major Artist 2016” Stacy Sullivan, and “Best Male Vocalist 2016” Todd Murray. Todd and Stacy step onto the stage not as themselves, but as representatives of every woman and every man who have entered into a relationship and inevitably hit that quandary of “should I stay or should I go?”

This question is thoughtfully explored through songs by Adam Guettel, Teddy Thompson, Rupert Holmes, Joni Mitchell, Lance Horne, Lauryn Hill, Kate Bush, Jane Siberry, and David Wilcox to name a few. Sometimes thought provoking, sometimes humorous, but always adeptly performed and entertaining. A quartet of cello, guitar, bass, and piano make this not only poignant lyrically but musically as well.

Stacy Sullivan, winner of the Nightlife, Bistro, and 2016 MAC Award for Outstanding Major Artist from the Manhattan Association of Cabaret and Clubs, and described in the New York Times as “Audacious,” “Compelling,” and “Stretching cabaret into previously unexplored territory” joins forces with Todd Murray, winner of this year’s BroadwayWorld.com Best Male Vocalist and for Best Show, described by the New York Times as “The real deal…impeccable…trembling sensitivity.” These two critically acclaimed artists team up in “Separate Ways”.
