The 2018 Graduating Class of the University of Miami’s Conservatory of Theatre Arts: BFA Musical Theatre Program will present a post showcase celebration at Feinstein’s/54 Below. Join the cast of graduating students and their special alumni guests in celebrating with musical numbers from both classic and contemporary pieces of musical theater.
Featuring performances by the current class and notable UM alumni (to be announced), this event is certainly one that “U” won’t want to miss!
Founded in 1940, with the historical construction of The Ring Theatre in 1951, the University of Miami’s Department of Theatre Arts is one of the oldest theatre conservatory training programs in the United States. Past alumni have performed and originated roles on and off Broadway in shows like Harry Potter & The Cursed Child, Carousel (Revival), The Gershwin’s Porgy & Bess, Groundhog Day, Natasha, Pierre, & The Great Comet of 1812, The Scottsboro Boys, American Idiot, and 50 Shades The Musical Parody.
