Welcome

To
54 Below

Vonda Shepard will hit the stage with her all-star band on December 2, 2023 at 54 Below, featuring songs from her new album, Red Light, Green Light, as well as her classic originals, “Maryland,” “Baby, Don’t You Break My Heart Slow,” and many more. They will also play some of the “Ally McBeal” faves, of course!  This is an incredibly soulful and dynamic show, featuring James Ralston on guitar (Tina Turner, 22 years!), Jim Hanson on bass (Johnny Cash, Bruce Springsteen!) and a very special guest, Paul Taylor on drums (currently playing percussion with Crowded House!).

Vonda has sold over twelve million albums, has won two Golden Globe Awards, two Emmys and two Screen Actors Guild Awards, and the Billboard Award for selling the most television soundtrack albums in history.

Get lost and reminisce in the intimate moments with Vonda at her piano. Sing along, yell out requests, and by the show’s end, be prepared to jump out of your seats and dance to the band’s irresistible energy!

Vonda Shepard was born in New York City in 1963. She has released sixteen albums, including nine solo albums, three live albums and four albums for “Ally McBeal.” Throughout her career she has played keyboards and sung with Jackson Browne, Al Jarreau and Rickie Lee Jones.

While on “Ally McBeal,” Vonda was the “behind the scenes” music producer, producing over five hundred songs for the artists Sting,  Randy Newman, Al Green, Robert Downey Jr., Gladys Knight, Chubby Checker, Jane Krakowski, Jon Bon Jovi, and many more.
