Amira Davis
Amira is a native of Wilmington, Delaware. She is a graduate of Cab Calloway School of the Arts . She has dance training from various institutes such as Christina Cultural Arts Center, DCNS, Eleone Dance Unlimited ,and The Princeton Ballet School. She is a graduate of Rider University. She is also the Co-Founder and Executive Director of Rider University’s Kinetic Dance Company, an organization focused on preparing students and alumni for careers in the dance field. She received her Masters from New York University . She was a member of Pretty Big Movement , REVEAL Movement and Pieces of a Dream where she was also faculty. An excerpt of Amira’s piece Mimicking The Woke was featured in the 2018 Camden Dance Festival. Her choreography was also in a 2016 Film. She is a choreographer for Upon The Shoulders We Stand, and The Choir School of Delaware Once On This Island (2022) and The Addams Family (2023). She is currently a dance educator and majorette technique coach.
