StageDoorDish.com Presents Unexpected Songs will be an evening of the perfect blending between pop songs, musical theatre, and pure silliness as Broadway stars insert an unexpected song into their favorite musical. Imagine if Perchik sang Magic!’s “Rude” when Tevye tried to forbid his engagement to Hodel in Fiddler on the Roof or if Ogie sang Bruno Mars’ “Marry You” to Dawn in Waitress instead of “I Love You Like A Table”! Each performer will have a brief interview about their favorite musical, act out their Unexpected Song’s lead-in scene, and then sing their hearts out. Enjoy some laughter and fun with your favorite Broadway performers in this unique one-night-only event.
StageDoorDish.com Presents Unexpected Songs is produced by Fiddler on the Roof’s Michael Bernardi and StageDoorDish.com’s editor-in-chief Samantha Stephens. Proceeds will benefit Muddy Paws Rescue.
