Max Chernin: The Color Ginger
August 8, 2016
Bright Star‘s Max Chernin makes his Feinstein’s/54 Below solo debut with The Color Ginger.
“No soul” you say? Day-walker? Endangered species? We all have opinions on our redheaded brothers and sisters. Ryan Fielding Garrett (Kinky Boots, Jasper In Deadland) joins Broadway ginger Max Chernin in exploring the ghosts of his past, the delight of the present, and the uncertainty of his future. Special guest gingers to be announced soon.
Max made his Broadway debut this season in Steve Martin & Edie Brickell’s Bright Star. Off-Broadway, he’s been seen (or unseen) as Captain Clear in Brooklynite (Vineyard Theatre) and as King Eggplant in Claudio Quest (NYMF). Other ridiculous roles include Slippery Soap in Blues Clues Live! in Parma, Ohio. Max was a finalist in “NYMF’s Next Broadway Sensation”, and performed at Town Hall in their annual “Broadway’s Rising Stars” concert. He’s appeared on television in Mozart in the Jungle and The Family.
Featuring Lee Slobotkin and Rachel Bahler.
