Mikayla Petrilla
Mikayla Petrilla is a New York City-based musical theatre performer, award-winning creator, and producer. She is currently a featured recurring player on Season 50 of NBC’s Saturday Night Live, where she has appeared since Season 47. Her television credits also include Gossip Girl, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Evil Lives Here and Succession on HBO Max.
Mikayla has originated roles in multiple new musicals inspired by the music of Madonna, Stevie Nicks, Janis Joplin, Carole King, and Nancy Sinatra, and was most recently seen in the original company of NIGHTCAP by Austin Goodwin at Nemacolin resort. Her stage work includes roles Off-Broadway in Sleep No More, at The Pershing Square Signature Center (NYMF), Joe’s Pub at The Public, and Lincoln Center. Regionally, favorite roles include Miss Shields in A Christmas Story, Margot and understudy Elle in Legally Blonde, Lily St. Regis in Annie, and Electra u/s June, Louise in Gypsy.
In addition to performing, Mikayla is an emerging force in the development of new musical theatre and parody work. She has produced cabarets and concerts throughout NYC and originated roles in several workshops and new musical series across the country. Her work is grounded in humor, honesty, and heart—and she brings those same values to her creative collaborations, both onstage and online.
She has shared the stage with talents such as Alan Cumming, Molly Shannon, Kristin Wiig, Mikey Madison, Ariana Grande Jason Momoa, Pedro Pascal, Billie Eilish, Ana de Armas, Evan Rachel Wood, Neil Patrick Harris, Susanne Bartsch, Lisa Lampanelli, Murray Hill, Bad Bunny, Dave Grohl, Nate Bargatze, Adam Driver, Olivia Rodrigo and more.
