Bryan Wells
Active on the New York jazz scene, accomplished pianist, composer and music director, Bryan Wells has written timeless standards such as “A Place in the Sun,” “Yester-me, Yester-you, Yesterday,” “Someday at Christmas,” “One Little Christmas Tree” and many more.
With numerous recordings by major label artists spanning generations – from Stevie Wonder, The Jacksons and Diana Ross to LeAnn Rimes, Justin Bieber, Mary J. Blige, Lizzo and many more, Bryan’s RIAA Gold/Platinum songs and music compositions have been featured in numerous top-grossing films and on countless television shows throughout the decades as well as in major global ad campaigns by the largest companies and brands, having earned him four prestigious Clio Awards.
As music director, Bryan collaborated with Bette Midler, and regularly appeared with her at the now mythic Continental Baths.
Bryan has released three albums including a collection of jazz standards, an album of his own compositions and most recently, a blend of standards and originals, working with notable artists Jay Anderson, John Riley, Kiyoshi Kitagawa, Adam Nussbaum, John Webber and Joe Farnsworth.
For twenty years, Bryan held court at the piano at the iconic Palm in New York City’s theatre district while having performed at Birdland and The Blue Note.
Bryan remains active writing songs and piano compositions.
